I’m trying to settle on a multitool that’s actually worth the money, not just the most expensive one. I’m putting together a small “field/vehicle” kit and also want something that can live on my belt for day-to-day use (tightening screws, cutting cord, basic fixes, maybe light prying).
I’m not chasing the biggest tool count; I care more about reliability, decent pliers, useful drivers, and not having the thing fall apart after a year. Budget is flexible but I’d like good value—not paying extra for hype. What models have been the best bang for the buck for you, and what should I avoid?
