Putting together a small loadout for range days, hiking, and general preparedness. I’m not trying to cosplay a medic, but I do want something I’d actually carry and maintain. There are a ton of “tactical” medical kits online with wildly different prices—some look like cheap pouches stuffed with random items, others are legit but expensive.
What medical kits (IFAKs, compact first aid kits, vehicle kits) do you think offer the best value for money? I’m looking for a good balance of quality, sensible contents, and refill cost. Also curious if it’s better value to buy a reputable prebuilt kit vs buying components and building your own. Not asking for medical advice—just trying to spend smart and avoid junk.
