Putting together a more dialed-in sleep system and I’m curious what everyone’s “ideal” setup looks like. I’m not talking luxury camping—more like realistic military/field use: variable temps, wet ground, limited pack space, and the occasional need to pack up fast.

Context: I do weekend rucks and occasional range days. Most of my nights are 30–55°F, sometimes dipping into the 20s. I’m a side sleeper and I tend to get cold in my feet. I’ve used a basic mummy bag + cheap foam pad and it works, but it’s bulky and I wake up stiff.
