I’m trying to dial in a realistic “do-everything” plate carrier setup for training days and occasional range work, not a cosplay wall-hanger. I’m 5'11, average build, and I move a lot (short sprints, kneeling, prone). I’m stuck between keeping it super slick vs. adding enough admin/utility to be practical.
If you were building your ideal plate carrier setup today, what would you prioritize and where would you mount things (mags, radio, IFAK, tourniquet, hydration, knife/multi-tool, small admin)? Also curious how you choose between placards vs. sewn-on pouches, and any comfort fixes (shoulder pads, cummerbund type, routing cables). Not looking for anything illegal—just safe, sensible training loadouts.
