I’m training for military-style fitness (run days, calisthenics, rucking 1–2x/week). I’m not trying to become a yogi—I just want a stretching routine that actually helps performance and keeps me from getting sidelined.
My main issues: tight hips/hamstrings after rucks, calves/Achilles feel stiff after intervals, and my shoulders get cranky from push-ups/pull-ups. I’ve been doing random stretches I remember from high school and it feels like I’m guessing.
What stretching routine works best for military fitness? I’m looking for something simple I can do as a warm-up before PT and a short routine for after training / before bed. If you’ve got a proven sequence (especially for rucking and running) I’m all ears.
