I’m new to buying “real” tactical clothing and I keep seeing combat shirts recommended for training days and range sessions. I’m not in the military, but I do a mix of outdoor work, hiking, and occasional airsoft, and I want something that won’t feel like a costume or fall apart.
Before I spend money, what should beginners know about combat shirts? Like: sizing (especially sleeves/torso), materials, how hot they get, whether the elbow pads are worth it, and what features are actually useful vs just marketing. Also, do you size to wear armor/plate carrier over it, or just buy your normal size? Any “wish I knew this first” advice is welcome.
