I’ve been reading more about modern air operations (fighters, tankers, ISR, helos, even drones) and it seems like “teamwork” is always mentioned, but usually in a vague way.
I’m not military—just an aviation nerd trying to understand what actually breaks if the team isn’t synced up. Is teamwork mostly about pilots flying as a formation, or is it more about planning, comms, maintenance, and all the people behind the scenes?
If you’ve seen good teamwork (or bad teamwork) in air ops, what did it look like in real terms? And what parts of an air mission rely on teamwork the most?
