- Sleep and fatigue discipline: if leaders don’t protect rest where possible, mistakes multiply.

Non-sexy lesson: the environment is an enemy. If you don’t plan around heat, dust, and distance, tactics suffer. For anyone trying to “train like Iraq” as a civilian outdoors, keep it safe and get instruction for any high-risk activity.
