I’m looking at enlisting/commissioning in the next year and I’d like a path that’s still “real military” but also lets me work on environmental protection. I grew up hiking and volunteering on river cleanups, and I’m interested in things like spill response, habitat protection on training lands, and making big organizations comply with environmental rules.
