I’ve been putting together a better first-aid setup for range days and hiking, and I keep seeing the same “top 5 IFAKs” over and over. I’m not looking for the most expensive gucci kit or anything—more like the medical kits that are genuinely solid but don’t get talked about much.
For context: I’m a civilian, I’ve done basic first aid/CPR but I’m not a medic. I want something that’s organized and realistic to carry in a pack or vehicle, with room to add items as I learn. What are the most underrated medical kits available today (or specific pre-built modules) that you think more people should know about? Also, any general advice on choosing a kit without pretending it turns you into a professional would be appreciated.
