I’m trying to buy a solid pair of gloves for range days and general outdoor work (some hiking, vehicle maintenance, and occasional cold/wet weather). I’ve owned cheap work gloves and they either shred fast or feel like oven mitts when I need to manipulate mags, phone, or small tools.
When you’re shopping for tactical/military-style gloves, what features matter most? I’m mainly torn between dexterity vs protection, and I’m not sure how much to care about knuckle guards, touchscreen fingertips, and “waterproof” claims. Any brands aside, what should I be looking for so I don’t waste money?
