I’m looking to pick up 1–2 combat shirts for range days and occasional field training (mostly plate carrier use, sometimes just a chest rig). I’ve tried a couple cheap ones and the torso fabric felt clammy and the sleeves either blew out at the elbows or the cuffs were annoying under gloves. I’m not trying to cosplay—just want something that holds up, breathes, and doesn’t fight my kit.
What features actually matter most when buying a combat shirt (fabric blend, elbow pads, pocket layout, IR stuff, zipper vs crew neck, etc.)? Any “must avoid” design flaws you’ve run into would help too.
