Putting together a couple medical kits for range days and a vehicle bag. I’m not trying to play medic, but I do want something I can trust (good pouch stitching, sane layout, and components that aren’t sketchy or expired). I keep seeing “tactical” kits on Amazon that look the part but feel questionable.
For people who’ve actually carried an IFAK or trauma kit: what brands are consistently reliable for the pouch AND the contents? Also, is it better to buy a complete kit from one brand or buy a solid pouch and build it with known components? I’m in the US if that changes what’s available. Not looking for medical instruction—just brand/quality guidance and what to avoid.
