I’m trying to buy 2 combat shirts that will actually hold up, not just look cool on the range. I do a mix of weekend training (prone work, barricades, light rucking) and some longer outdoor trips where stuff gets sweaty and abrasive fast. My last “combat style” shirt pilled up, the seams started pulling near the shoulders, and the collar stretched out after a few washes.
What brands are genuinely reliable for real use—durability, stitching, fabric that doesn’t sag, and decent comfort under plates/ruck straps? I’m open to spending more if it’s worth it. Also curious if there are differences between “issued” style shirts and the more premium civilian options. What’s the best bang for the buck right now?
