I’m looking for real-world experiences with tactical belts (not just unboxings). I’ve been running a basic nylon belt for range days and it’s fine until I add a holster and a couple pouches—then it starts shifting, sagging, and rubbing my hips after an hour or two. I’m debating between a stiffer inner/outer belt setup vs a simple reinforced “EDC” style belt. My main use is range training, occasional classes, and some outdoor work where I’m in and out of vehicles. I’m not trying to build a full battle belt, just something stable that doesn’t rotate, supports a sidearm, and stays comfortable under a backpack waist strap.
What brands or styles have held up for you long-term? Any lessons learned on stiffness, buckle types, keeping it from slipping, and pouch placement? Also curious if people regret going too heavy or too rigid.
