I’m putting together a “baseline” list of survival skills to work on this year. Not extreme stuff—more like what any regular person should know for getting through a bad night in the woods, a winter power outage, or being stuck after a car breakdown with no service. I’ve got some camping experience but I’m not confident that I’m prioritizing the right things.
If you had to pick the most important survival skills everyone should learn (and practice), what would they be and why? Also curious what’s realistic for beginners to train safely—classes, drills, simple weekend practice, etc.
