I keep hearing people say modern armies are "the most capable ever," but then you watch recent conflicts and see units stalled by simple stuff: drones, supply issues, bad comms, slow decision-making, or politics.
I’m not trying to dunk on any one country—more like a general question for 2020s warfare. If you had to list the biggest weaknesses modern armies tend to have (organizationally, technically, culturally, doctrinally), what would they be?
Also curious which problems are actually new (drones, cyber, social media) versus old problems that just look different now (logistics, morale, leadership).
