I’m trying to narrow down what counts as truly professional-grade optics (not just “good for the price”). I’m putting together a serious setup for training classes and field use (range days, low light drills, rough handling, travel). I’m not deploying or doing anything illegal—just want something that won’t lose zero, won’t fog up, and has solid warranty/support.
I’m open to different categories: red dot + magnifier, LPVO, mid-range scope, and also any thoughts on thermal/NV optics if you’ve used them. What brands/models have you seen actually hold up under hard use? And what features matter most (glass vs. durability vs. illumination vs. mounting)?
