I’m trying to buy one solid pair of professional-grade gloves for work and training (range days, light field use, some vehicle maintenance). I’ve been through a few “tactical” gloves that felt fine at first but the seams blew out, fingertips wore thin, or they got slippery when wet.
What I’m looking for: good dexterity (I hate the bulky ski-glove feel), durable palms, decent grip in heat/sweat, and enough protection for occasional knuckle bumps. Touchscreen compatibility is a plus but not required.
If it matters: I’m in a mild climate but we do get rainy months. Budget is flexible if the value is there. What do you guys consider the best professional-grade gloves and why?
