I’m putting together a simple range/field setup and I need a tactical belt that won’t destroy my wallet. Use case: mostly weekend range days, some hiking/camping, and I’d like it to handle a couple belt pouches and maybe a holster on occasion (not trying to build a full competition rig).
I keep seeing nylon “duty belts,” inner/outer velcro systems, and the stiffer EDC-style belts with a buckle. My main priorities are: stays tight, doesn’t fold when I hang a little weight on it, and doesn’t feel like a cheap costume belt after a month.
What are the best budget-friendly tactical belts you’ve actually used? Any sizing tricks or avoid-at-all-cost options?
