I’m training up for enlistment/selection prep (still figuring out which route) and I keep getting mixed advice: some people say running is basically everything, others say it’s overrated compared to rucking and strength. Right now I can run a decent 2 miles but longer runs beat up my shins if I push volume. I’m also lifting 3x/week and doing occasional hikes with a pack.
