I’m training for a military-style fitness goal and I keep hitting a wall on the tough sessions: long runs, heavy circuits, and especially anything that mixes burpees + sandbag carries. I start strong, then halfway through my brain starts negotiating: “slow down,” “skip a round,” “do it tomorrow.”
I’m not looking for some magic quote, but real strategies that actually work when you’re smoked—mental cues, pacing tricks, how you structure the workout, music/no music, training partners, whatever. How do you stay motivated during difficult workouts when motivation is basically gone?
