I’ve been slowly building out my kit for range days and hiking—mostly camo tops/pants plus a plate carrier and a couple pouches in similar patterns. I noticed some of my camo fabric already looks a little “washed out,” and one shirt has weird shiny spots after a couple washes.
What’s the right way to maintain and care for camouflage so the pattern doesn’t fade and the fabric doesn’t get that glossy look? Any do’s/don’ts for detergents, water temp, drying, and storage? Also curious if the advice changes for ripstop vs. softshell, and for camo gear like packs or pouches.
